FEMA Faces Nearly 30 Lawsuits Over Hermits Peak-Calf Canyon Fire Compensation Delays

• That over 30 lawsuits have now been filed on behalf of 167 individual plaintiffs and several organizations in federal court against the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).

Speaking to KOAT, Mr. Colón said: "We don’t think there are bad actors. We just think there are bad systems. And we’re going to use the courts to fix those systems. At the end of the day, we have limited options. But one of those options is litigating."
